Gnome-Photos, Unable to Fetch List of Photos - Zorin 12.1

Hi
Seem to be having an issue with the Gnome-Photos app.
Whenever I open it all I see is a big red exclamation mark with the following text underneath it:
'Unable to fetch the list if photos'
1.1332: syntax error, unexpected character
The app will momentarily attempt to obtain photos from my Google Account and then just gives up
I can confirm that Google is set up correctly in On-Line accounts with Photo option applied
Any guidance or advice of how to remedy this appreciated

I'm guessing here, I use as little Google apps I can get away with on my Android Phone and Google Photos is definitely not one of them! I suspect it is an issue with Google Photos file nomenclature of files that the Photo App is having issues with?
