Hello. When I first installed Zorin 11 I had no problems whatsoever. But I had to reinstall and that's when the trouble started. It will boot into the grub gui and then goes into a black screen. If I close my laptop and reopen it's booted up and ready to go. How can I get it to boot up properly w/o having to close and reopen the lid?

Do you get a glowing 'Z' during boot at all? Have you installed Proprietary (NVidia/ATI-AMD) drivers? Loading proprietary graphics drivers tends to screw up the GDM (Gnome Desktop Manager).
