Hey guys, first time using Zorin and i gotta say i love the look of it. Great style.
But overall i have one issue, as the title says the nvidia driver in the additional drivers tab is selected, but when i go to check what OpenGL is using i get this output
kyle@Zorin:~$ glxinfo|egrep "OpenGL vendor|OpenGL renderer"
OpenGL vendor string: nouveau
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on NV124
One thing to also add, when i search for nvidia i get the nvidia settings panel. and that only has 2 tabs. On my Mint PC the drivers are fine and the nvidia panel shows my gpu name and all the fancy stuff that the Zorin PC isnt
Any idea on how to fix? Kinda need this fixing soon..
Note you cant say thats just what that says, use a program that needs opengl and it'll change. I have, i tried Counter Strike Global Offensive, getting like 50-60 fps, i normally get around 300 so opengl clearly isnt seeing the nvidia driver.
