xwax running on Zorin OS?

Did anyone experienced running xwax on zorin?
i´ve tried to but i´m def not an expert with linux/programming or using the terminal.

I followed the instructions to the letter - however, I hit an issue with jack - had to open a new terminal window and entered:

sudo apt-get install libjack0
before being able to run this command in the original terminal - remember just use up arrow to see history of sudo commands in the terminal - saves typing all over again):

sudo ./configure --prefix /usr --enable-alsa --enable-jack


The other issue I had was going to the downloads/configure command - had to cd to Downloads as:

tar xvf downloads/xwax-1.6.tar.gz
did not work - notice that I have changed the version number to the latest download of 1.6 apart from that it could do with a GUI to work with - I am not much good with advanced bash commands. ;) :D
