panel applets

can i not add applets to the default panel on the new zorinOS 12? i want a show the desktop feature.

Open an Application, then when the applet appears on the panel while application is open, right-click it and select "Add to Favourites" - it is now permanently in your panel. ;) :D

what about the show the desktop feature though?

You need to download a mini dock from Gnome extensions - unfortunately it adds other gubbins too but I can't do anything about that. ;) :D

Well had to update my installed extensions and guess what? A new extension for just what you need!:

You can also use the keyboard command of:

Ctrl+ Alt+ D
