Hi, is this Core? If it is I will PM the Devs/Admins about this. Have you been able to get to see the GRUB screen at all at boot time? (Hold Left Shift key while booting - mine appears to have stopped doing it!) If you can, choose advanced boot options, safe mode then run DPKG from the options, but be sure you have a wired connection to the internet. Before going down this route, when in graphical mode try and run the following commands in a terminal (Ctrl+ Alt+ T or Utilities | Terminal) and enter:
- Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
There appears to be a whole host of bugs at present:
https://ubuntuupdates.org/bugs.atomIf you can choose an earlier kernel at boot time from the Advanced Mode, once in desktop, remove the latest kernel via Software or if not installed, get Synaptic Package Manager and remove it from there by searching for Kernel in filter box.
