Zorin 12 + Intel driver updater

Issue: Screen flickers occasionally, tearing along the bottom 1/4 will happen every once in a while.

System: Dell 15-7537 / Intel HD Graphics / Intel 8 CS

I have searched a bit through the forums, and while I found the Intel updater, I have not seen anything pertaining to how to get it to install on Zorin 12 (latest I saw was, I believe, 8 or 9). When trying to install the package, it starts then immediately stops. What do I need to do in order for it to be able to install properly?
