Firefox weird scrollbar behavior

Hi ! Coming from a screwed up Debian install (I'm not a big noob, but I don't have so much time for Linux puzzles...), Zorin OS is very much appreciated in terms of UI, simplicity, and performance.

The only thing that bugs me currently is the behavior of scroll bars in firefox. they are big and obnoxious and don't autohide. There seems to be no 'thin' version either. Firefox is the only app where the boxy, retro style permanent scrollbars are to be seen...

Any tips ?
Thanks !

Have you checked your screen resolution? Mine looks thin like this:

Lucky you ! what FF version ?

I mean my scroll bars looked like that on Debian/Gnome previously.

My screen resolution is native, 1366x768 i think.

I have resorted to hiding the scroll bars altogether via a (soon to be deprecated) plugin.
