Themes not working

I just installed zorin os 12.1 core on my acer travelmate 5730 and after updating the themes dont work properly anymore. i put it in the the black and white the me but the icons in the bar below the screen remain blue. How do i fix this

Before going any further:

1. Start Software Updater - you will need your password to elevate you too root (administrator) to run this, then stop/cancel and click on Settings button and then go to first tab and change download server from your country to 'Main Server'.

2. Open the terminal (Ctrl+ Alt+ T) and enter:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
