firmware bug

I'm relatively new to Zorin and tried to make my Dell a dual boot machine with Win10 with Zorin 12.1 Core. On my first insallation attempt Zorin wouldn't boot properly and gave a firmware bug 0.020090. I tried again and Zorin was fine, if a bit slow, for about a day and a half then it gave a new firmware bug:

[ 0.020555] [Firmware Bug]: cpu 0, invalid threshold interrupt offset 1 for b
ank 4, block 0 (MSR00000413 = 0xd000000001000000)

Busy Box v1.22. 1 (Ubuntu 1: 1.22.0-15ubuntu 1) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands

(initramfs)

Has anyone seen this before? More importantly, how can I fix it?

Hi, nearest I could find to your issue in this posting:

http://faq.aslab.com/support/kb/207.html

it could be that your cpu is not supported in the kernel?
