Zorin 12 Black screen after reboot

Hi,

I have just updated the kernel to 4.10.0.35 and something strange has started to happen. Rebooting from the OS the screen will go black and then not boot up. But if you hard reboot it using the reboot button on the computer case the machine will boot up to the OS fine.

Run update-grub and no warnings. Sudo update and upgrade and no new software. Ive tried 4.10 kernel and its the same.

Any help would be great.
