seems like the latest os update (kernel update) broke snaps.
things ive tried so far to fix
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade
no snap apps will run now. wavebox for example, kicks back a udev_enumerate_faied error if you try to run it. every snap app i try to run now, simply wont.
help?

correction, the error it is kicking is udev_enumerate_scan failed
ive also tried booting into the 3 kernels that appear to be installed via grub, but no luck.
any ideas anyone?

Having just read this article explains the problem more clearly:
https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/04/2 ... top_linux/Basically, Snaps and Flatpacks are not official 'packages' - so the issue will be with Snaps not being compatible with the Kernel - therefore it is down to 3rd party developers to get their act together - that is my take on it.
