How to open the adobe reader program? Everytime I open the adobe reader program, there's a message that says, "we need to close, sorry for the inconvenience". I've already uninstalled the said program with the intention of installing it again. But now, when i downloaded it from the internet, I also could not install it too! Is there a problem with my computer's system? Maybe there's virus in my computer because I'm still experiencing a difficulty in opening some applications like the yahoo messenger and live messenger. Is there anyone who can help me?

Hi,

you are trying to use Windows programs in an Linux enviroment and that is why you cannot open them.

Yahoo Messenger doesn't have a version for Linux but a clone called "Gyachi", and Live Messenger has a clone called AMSN.

You need to install the "Medibuntu Repo" and then you can install the Linux version of Adobe Reader directly.

If you want to use Windows programs under Linux then you need Wine!!.
