Useless menu set on my Zorin desktop

Using Zorin OS 12.2, this annoying menu set keeps appearing on the right on my desktop. Menu items seem animated when mouse-over, but clicking them activates no action.
Q1: What is this and why does it appear?
Q2: How can I get rid of this useless menu?

Have you added any themes or additional DE's? (Desktop Environment) as that panel looks like a Cairo-Dock DE panel. Most panels by default in Zorin, such as Zorin Dash appear on the Left of the screen by default. Have you selected any option to update to the latest version of Ubuntu? If you did you could have broken your Zorin install. If you don't have Tweak Tool installed, install it from Software, launch it, Select 'Extensions' on the left, then scroll down and switch off any Panels that might be showing up in the Extensions list.
Keep us posted. ;) :D
