Hi all,

Has anyone had any issues recently with problems mounting network locations from fstab? I have a number of locations, listed in fstab like this one:
Code:
//192.yyy.y.yy/GoFlex\040Home\040Personal /home/zzzz/Phil_Files   cifs   auto,_netdev,user,credentials=/home/zzzz/.smbcredentials,iocharset=utf8,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,sec=ntlm   0   0

These have worked for some time to mount a network location where I access most of my files, but in the last two weeks have failed to work, with the error "error 112: host is down"

I am using 12.2 (Kernel 4.13.0-32)

Cheers

P

Thanks Swarfendor437
Just to complicate matters we've been having phone and broadband issues this last week so I've only just got back to this. I had found that and some like it, but this does not seem to resolve the issue. I found that the issue does not exist if I boot into the previous kernel I had running (4.8.0-39) which is curious.
Will be interesting to see if the problem remains after the next upgrade.

More an irritation than anything - having your internet constantly dropping out is much more of a bug-bear! :-)
