Hi there is there a way to install drivers locally. I tried numerous times to install the nvidia drivers from the dot run file only to fed up with it.

Did you download the driver or did you 'run' it from the dialog box? I always save downloaded files first then run. ;)

OK.

1. https://askubuntu.com/questions/859630/ ... 640#859640

2. Use the .run command in the terminal

3. Disable Nouveau at the kernel level: https://askubuntu.com/questions/112302/ ... ver#266981

4. Cross everything and hope for the best!
