Evolution update

Hi. Using latest Zorin version. I use Evolution for my pim. Zorin's repos have a very old version, 3.18.x. This version won't connect with Google contacts. Frustrating! Later versions of Evolution work fine. Any chance we can get an updated version of Evolution? Thanks.

Hi, are you using the Software channel or Synaptic Package Manager when searching for Evolution? Also, have you changed your Server Location from your Country Server/s to 'Main Server'?

Not sure what you mean. I'm using the default repos that come with Zorin. Is there something else I should be checking? Thanks.

When you launch Software Updater, cancel it, then click on the 'Settings' button. Go to the first tab of the window that opens and check where your updates are coming from - if your country server, change it to 'Main Server'.

I misunderstood what it was saying about Evolution and 'Flatpak' - thought it might be on there but it isn't - would be interesting to see if 'Flatpak' apps can be installed on Zorin:
