I am wondering about the pros and cons of installing LibreOffice 6.0.4 in my fresh instalation of Zorin Lite 12.3. I use Write a lot for my work, but most of times I cannot select text easily by scrolling for example - you can get a lot of text selecting and you cannot control the mouse (this happens in earlier versions too. I mean the ones that comes with the OS's, - also regardin Linux Mint).
Also if I save a file under "RTF" format, to open it with "wordpad" under my virtual box's windows 7, I got a lot of wrong caracters... (but this might be a problem among the applications)
I have been using 5.1.6.2 for a long time and all in all it seems realy stable for me, didn't experienced bad shut downs, non that I recall. However I asume it doesn't have all the features include in 6.0.4 , I don't know..... you may know better.
I have used LibreOffice 5.3.4, (in another computer) so I know there are some differences. However I wonder if I install the lastest LibreOffice version (6.0.4), would it ocupy many space of my disk?, and if some problems mentioned will be fixed.. My main concern is that this is a stable version.
To sum up which are the differences? Is it better to have 6.04 ?
There is also a version called Stable: LibreOffice 5.4.7 ...
Ps: I have just made a fresh install of Zorin Lite 12.3 (in Spanish) and realized LibreOffice is en english
Thanks and sorry for the long text.
