network manager closing

When I open 'network manager' it closes before I can do what I wish. Is there a way I can get it to stay open till I wish to close it ?

Hi retired,

did you update your system fully??. When you start your PC; go into recovery mode and run "dpkg", this may solve the problem for you :D .
