[RESOLVED] Google Earth will not run in Zorin OS 12.4

I have resurrected my old computer and got it running on Zorin OS 12.4. When it was working using Windows 7, Google Earth would run. But having successfully installed the current Ubuntu deb version Google Earth runs but not properly, and it is unusable. This is the screen it opens to, and there is no way I can find to make it display properly.

The web version of Google Earth does not run on the version of Chrome that installed with Zorin. The browser opens the page, but does not load. So for Google Earth, I have to use my smart phone.

I get the same results on FerenOS based on Ubuntu 18.04 too - I suspect it is a Google Earth issue and older versions of the app have been taken down by Google from other sites likek OldApps site. :(

The version of Chrome that comes with Zorin isn't Chrome - it's the free software version - Chromium. And this is why it no longer works in any other browser but Chrome:

You will need to download the .deb package from Google:

No sign of google-earth-pro-stable in any of my Zorin 12.4 Ultimate software sources - where can it be hiding?

Is it ony available on your pepped up Zorin installation ZorinAntwerp?

Thanks - it worked fine - once I used only one of the repeated URLs.
