Hello everybody , I need kind of urgent help, yesterday night while trying to put several ISOs (linux and windows ) in my pendrive (16GB), I formated it with gparted in fat32, as I was working with YUMI since Multisystem doesn't allowed several Windows images, but I got an error (I worked with YUMI from my Windows7 Oracle Virtual Box machine), so I tried YUMI from Linux following a tutorial
which said I should format my pendrive with this
So I took another computer that runs with Windows 10 and the unit is shown for a very short time, It isn't show in "MY PC" but it is in "devices" and in "quit safe" in the Task bar.
I have contact the warranty , but today is sunday....
this is the result I got when I do
It isn't shown neither in "disk" neither in "gparted". I got this device new in february this year, after changing another same one to the seller because It also got broken after creating two partitions with gparted . Here I think it is almost the same case because a couple of years back I tried creating to partitions, but in theory that shouldn't cause a problem, should it?
Here I left you some pics from the windows10 computer
which said I should format my pendrive with this
- Code:
mkfs.vfat -F 32 -n MULTIBOOT /dev/sdc1
