Driver horror stories continue...
Will the all the "nice" PR and news of Microsoft (seemingly) getting close to Linux, it's easy to forget how Microsoft IS hostile to Linux and everything open source.

Thanks for the links. But same story.....
First, The link led me to download the intel graphics update tool v. 2.0.3 which did not install on my Zorin Os 12.4. So i found my way around with only 2.0.2 which I think is more stable with Ubuntu 16.04 so far (erm.. with my online review) and which installed. But this is what i get:
Checking if Intel graphics card available...
• checking for i915 module in /sys/module
• i915 module found
Checking if Intel graphics card available... OK
Retrieving information from 01.org...
• fetching https://download.01.org/gfx/ilg-config.cfg
• saving to /home/oniguguru/.ilg-config
• fetched 1549 bytes
• fetched 9741 bytes
• fetched 12301 bytes
• looking up [Ubuntu raring] configuration
Retrieving information from 01.org... OK
Checking distribution... FailedI also followed the instructions to remove the secure boot.. . I ended up removing it from bios myself and nothing has changed!
Any more things to try?
