pro wireless 3945ABG Issue

Hi All,

First time poster here. I have just installed Zorin Core 12.4, 32 bit onto a toshiba A100 laptop which has an INTEL pro wireless 3945ABG. During the installation procedure it detected and activated the wifi with no problem, logging onto my network and downloading various things during the installation.

Then the fun started! After installing it asked for a reboot and as soon as it rebooted the wifi wasn't working anymore. The wifi options appear in the right hand pop-up menu bar with "wifi off", trying to turn it on doesn't work, just closes and nothing happens.

I have rooted around all over the internet and can't find an answer.
