Macbook 12" 2015

Hi,
I booted into the live environment of Zorin using my USB drive. However, my keaboard and trackpad were completely unresponsive. The only button which worked on the keyboard was the power button. Eventually had to shutdown and boot back into MacOS.
Any workaround would be appreciated.
