Magnification

Hi.
Just purchased the 12.4 Ultimate version so this is my first try with this OS. My first issue is that my laptop has a 2560x1400 resolution. But Zorin OS insist on magnifying everything making it look like I only have 800x600 :( I have tried to adjust the settings I can find and find relative to the issue with no success.

I have run deepin, ubuntu and other with no issues like this.

Any one?

This is a major problem - but surmountable - give the O/S a chance.

Have a look through some of the early postings and you will find what we did.

Hi

I have Lenovo T470p https://www.lenovo.com/sg/en/laptops/th ... 2TP2TT470P

The info I get from the OS is that I have a Mesa DRI Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 (Kaby Lake GT2) even though it says Intel® HD Graphics or NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX 2 GB GDDR5 in the spec.

Don't know if this is the same thing :-/

Well..

For some reason I lowered the screen resolution i settings to 2048x1152 and now something looks a bit better. Going back to 2560x1440 is not a good idea. Then things get pretty buggy with programs crashing and so on. So there must be an issue with high resolution screens here.
