USB External HDD gets unmonted

Hello, I am under Zorin Lite 12.4, recently installed.. My external Hard Disk (USB) where I have all my information, gets unmonted whenever I try to copy several fiels or big files, and this happends the most when I change from Thunar window to Opera Browser window... this never happen to me before..
I run SMART test on this external hard disk , 0 % errors.


It is mounted by default in /media/<username>
Usb is 2.0 plugged into 2.0 rear usb ports. Suggestions ?

Thank you, before your reply I have tried with "Disk " utility which is simpler to me , I edited there the mount options, and set it to be booted at the startup, altough it is not marked now... :?

Thank you again for this. I took a closer look but I don't know how to apply it. I came back again since the procedure I did with "disks" before It didn't work.
