How to terminate a crashed system?

Hello,
I've been using Zorin OS 15 beta for a few days now and I'm quite happy with it. But today it crashed twice on me. I had to hard reboot.
Is there a key combination like the Windows Ctrl-Alt-Del to terminate a buggy program?

Hi
on crashes I do a hard reboot.
you can try out a reisub (the system is busier than it should be)

while holding Alt and the SysReq (Print Screen) keys, type REISUB.
