IRC

hey, I havne't been on in a while ... and I jumped on today and saw that Zorin has it's own IRC server ... but everything I see is http

can I get server details for setting up a client
(this way I auto login everytime I get on the computer)

defaults I think would be

Username: myusername
Server: webchat.freenode.net
Password: mypassword
Alias: myusername
Port: 6667

but it does not seem to be working ... infact a Syn/Ack connection on 6667 seems to be closed ...
anyway we could bet admin to wither get us some correct settings or set up a not http IRC server ?

at the current time I am using pidgin, and I've got all my plugins the way I like them =] so I'm not looking to change programs...

but I will look into getting a freenode account and seeing if I can work with what info they give me
