Hi Steve,

is your Wifi connection set to "Connect Automatically" and for "All users" in the Network settings manager??.

Hi steve,

I have two things that may help you, the first: install the graphic card drivers for your system if you haven't already done so. Control Center > Hardware > Additional drivers, this only works for NVida and ATI cards!!.

Second, when you start, go into recovery mode and run "dpkg" from the list, this may well help solve the problem if you have damaged packages on your system!!.

Hi,

I cannot say if this will solve your problem, you can try copying the following in a terminal:

sudo -i

and then:

echo "options drm_kms_helper poll=N">/etc/modprobe.d/local.conf

It should fix it or at least stop the message!!.
