I'm totally averse to anything connected with GitHub now M$ has bought it out:

My own opinion, but going to /var/log/ and reading dpkg.log may be more helpful as that is what has taken place directly on your computer.

Are you looking for a way to examine the changelogs prior to allowing an upgrade or installation to yoursystem?
This MAY help.

This may not, but still interesting... if you add "-development" on the end of this link, you can look at the kernel for 19.10
https://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release

I do not know about Zorin distro specific, but you might shoot a PM to Azorin on here and ask directly and see what he has to offer. Please remember that there are two people answering ALL help requests so it may take some time for him to see and reply to the message.

was more thinking of after an update so i can explore new features. specifically the ZorinOS-specific packages. nice to know what they added or made better.

Appreciate the help from both Swarfendor and Aravisian! :)

I ran Software Updater and this is what it showed me under "Details."

And there is /var/log/dpkg.log that you can navigate to easily (Don't even need to login as Root.)
A couple things you can see on your end. But yes, a site you can check in on and see a changelog before OR after might be nice, too.

I was thinking of suggesting what Aravisian suggested and in addition if you click on the arrowhead next to Technical description in that screenshot will give you more information which I described in the manual for Zorin 12. ;) :D

Swarfendor, what you are saying simply isn't true. I opened that screenshot just now and I clicked that arrowhead next to Technical description at least fifty times and nothing happened.
