Newbie to Zorin/Ubuntu.
I want to install Zorin OS on a new computer (well some parts, including the MB, are 2 years old. But the BIOS is updated to the last version)
I followed the installation instructions, including changing the BIOS options, but only got the error messages "bad magic number/failed to load kernel" message. I read of a lot forums threads about it but I didnt find a clear answer to what I must do.
Is it a a USB drive problem (hardware)? Just saying, I tried this on 2 USB drives and I had the same problem.
Is it a BIOS problem?
Is it a problem related to the creation of the boot?
I am lost. It is saddening that a newcomer to Ubuntu/Linux hit the wall just when he tries to create a proper USB boot.
Thanks
