Hello to all you wonderfull people i have been enjoying zorin for quite some time but have sucummed to a problem i can't sort, have have been to blender.org dnloaded there tar , extracted it , hit the executable and ..........it don't work please help, many thanks Dan.

The website may be offering a version of Blender that does not match your O.S. system. You might try installing directly from the Bionic Repository using the terminal:

sudo apt-get install blender
