Hi there everyone,

I want to install Zorin OS on my PC but the installation doesn't want to detect my Logitech MK710 reciever and so on my keyboard and mouse... Is there any way beside buying a new keyboard and mouse to use with the installation?

There are several options. Logitech builds for Mac and Windows, but not for Linux. That's ok, though, Linux is filled with independent developers.
Please add the following repository using terminal
Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:daniel.pavel/solaar

then
Code:
sudo apt-get update

Now, install solaar
Code:
sudo apt-get install solaar

Easy as pie, right?
Solaar should appear in your apps menu but you can hit alt+F2 on your keyboard, type in "solaar" and pull it up that way. An icon will appear on your panel. Click that icon to configure Logitech devices and settings.
I hope this helps.

P.S.
If this does not work for you, we can try using "ltunify", instead.

Oh... I am not sure on that. LiveCD must, by the way it operates solely off the Optical Drive, run slightly differently than it would as installed on the HDD.
For most basic operations, it will work just fine. Certainly enough to let a potential OS user get a feel for it and examine it. But get if you get too complex or heavy in the O.S. i/o -the Optical drive cannot keep up.
This is true for all and any Distribution in LiveCD mode.
I do not know if that is what is causing the issue for you or not. I also am not smart enough to figure out how you can overcome that issue if you want to run a persistent LiveCD mode rather than installing.

Hopefully a bigger brain will roll in and can help.

We can help you install Logitech MK710 on a copy of Zorin that is installed to the hard drive (not running on LiveCD), if that is what you meant...

I mean that I would like to install Zorin on My Desktop PC but I Can't do it if I can't manage to get my Keyboard and Mouse working.
The fun thing is that the keyboard IS working on the main screen choosing between "Try or Install Zorin OS" and " ... (safe graphics) and (modern NVIDIA graphics)" but on the next screen (With "Try Zorin OS" and "Install Zorin OS") the mouse and keyboard doesn't respond.

Ah, I see your frustration. I had thought above you said you had installed Zorin, already.
Well... I know this will sound simplistically dumb but... Have you tried grabbing a cheapo USB Mouse/Keyboard? That would do the trick, save you the headache AND give you an emergency fallback bit of hardware.
I hate to admit it, but I keep at least three spare keyboards and mice handy at all times. Spilled Dr. Pepper usually the reason...
The other option is to get pretty crafty with the software...

Logitech is built for Windows and will work on Windows, no problem. It even worked on the base motherboard BIOS before the Linux Grub kicked in (Because the motherboard to your computer was also built for Windows). On Linux, you must patch it to use it and using it before you can really patch it kind of puts the cart before the horse. Again, perhaps someone smarter than me may chime in with a fix.

I've bought a TRACER SMART RF and it doesn't work either. I'll test to turn off IOMMU (or check if it IS turned off) and check if legacy USB is turned on. I guess there is the trick. Previously I've had GA-990XA-UD3 and I've tried to install Ubuntu (I don't remember what version) using Logitech MX5500 bluetooth set and it turns out that it isn't compatible with Ubuntu go I gave up on it.

I'll try the settings out and give You an info.

I remember installing DreamLinux once and I had to use a wired keyboard and mouse for install but wireless worked after that. ;) :D

Ok guys, thanks for help :)

It seems that changing to enable Legacy USB and Port 60/64 Emulation does the trick :)

So if anyone has a problem with USB keyboard and mouse on installation of Zorin OS or any other Linux (I suppose) AND You have an AMD motherboard just check wether You have enabled both "Legacy USB" AND "Port 60/64 Emulation".

Neverless thanks Aravisian for any help that You've posted :)
