Download aite from net and only file list - folders show

Hi,

I have downloaded through Filezilla, a site we have on a shared folder to its own folder in htdocs and when it is viewed in FF, only the file list and folders show. When we click on an individual .htm it shows fine, but going straight to the folder, only the file list shows.

There is a index.htm file there but some of the files are .pl and there is also a cgi-bin folder.

Maybe something has to be 'switched on'

Ah haa. Found it.

Change the index from htm to html.

It seems all the other htm pages linked to index are showing okay, so would I also have to change them to html to run the site?

Make a backup of the site first then make the change to test. ;)
