Is there a search to add new software?

Hello:

I cannon seem to find a way to "search" for a specific software in the add software screen - is that correct?

I know on the Core Version it likes to hide. At the upper mid- right is a small Magnifying glass icon. Clicking that reveals the search entry frame.
