Lost desktop

Ill advisedly I deleted Gnome login to avoid intrusive requests for password. Unfortuneately it seems that advice was for an old version of Zorin, and I have lost my desktop.

Any advice on restoring without having to reinstall and lose everyting?

Hi, Can you see GRUB, the bootloader when you switch on? ;) :D

I have done similar. I removed the entire Zorin Desktop by accident once, too.
As Swarfendor has begun to instruct, if you can boot into the GRUb, drop to cmd, then enter the installation commands. Without knowing exactly what you removed, I can only guess:
Code:
sudo apt-get install zorin-desktop

Code:
sudo apt-get install gnome

Code:
sudo apt-get install gdm3
