Hi,

I have a daily back up a another drive in the box but it will only do it if it has permissions.

This is fine until a reboot when that permission needs to be manually given again to the back up folder.

Is there a script or some way that on a reboot it automatically allow permissions?

Thanks

Hi, I would take a look at Timeshift which takes snapshots of your system daily and is the Linux alternative to System restore. ;) :D
