webcam not working in a dell inspiron and an HP elitebook

I've only started trying to figure this out on the dell. It's a Inspiron 14z N411z.

I had opensuse installed and there was a weird wireless issue. Friend recommended Zorin OS.

On opensuse leap 15.1, the webcam worked. However with Zorin it detects it, but you can't use it. Fresh install of Zorin
