Change your video driver. Software Updater -> Settings -> Additional Drivers. I had the same problem on my desktop with a NVIDIA card. Changed the driver to a different one and that fixed it.

On the wifi issue, I recall at least one other person having the same problem, don't recall which latop. Turned out it was specific to their laptop which was hardware-specific, not OS-specific, which involved them needing to press a function key to activate it.
My own desktop (dual boot Win 7/Zorin) incidentally has the same problem with its PCI network card and the problem occurs both on Win 7 as well as Zorin. Do you have dual boot to check?
Some suggestions such as BIOS setting and swapping adapters are mentioned here: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/ ... connecting

On the video card you could try something from: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=test+video+ca ... 4-1&ia=web
I have never tested my own GPU, so I don't know. But, techwalla, CNET, passmark (from above link results) seem to have options that you should be able to run on Wine (if no linux option available).
