would it be possible to activate the search for internal files on the pc directly from the zorin os toolbar?

See page 49 of the unofficial manual. I can't replicate it as I have installed Thunar which supercedes Nautilus - you may have to change your privacy settings too in order for it to work correctly. ;) :D

That looks like you are running Core or Gnome desktop.
Are you searching from the Search entry in the App Menu?

With Gnome- please see if this instruction page is helpful at all:

I do not use Gnome Desktop- I use XFCE desktop or Cinnamon Desktop with Zorin Lite and in those Desktop Environments, what you are looking for is the default behavior. You MAY consider using a more user friendly desktop Environment as I am using.
