My copy of VLC 2.2.2 weatherwax, running on my Zorin12.04 laptop, can no longer stream Youtube content. It seems as though this is a relatively new issue (still months to years).
Looking online, it appears as though the VideoLAN > VLC > lus > playlist > youtube.luac file needs to be updated. The youtube guide was written for Windows users. Where would this file be in my Zorin nautilus file manager?
Does VLC essentially run on Linux coding such that this replacement file is the one that I should use?
If not, what should I do to get VLC to work with youtube?
