Something between Gimp and Image Viewer?

Zorin installs Gimp and Image Viewer but you can't draw lines with Image Viewer and GIMP is too complicated. I couldn't find anything in Zorin "Software" like MS Photos where it's basically just a simple image viewer but you can draw on the images pencil-style and save it as-is with the pencil lines. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

I suspect Krita is what you need - just browse the various paint packages in the Software channel. ;) :D

Thanks. That's a little better than Gimp. All I want to do is draw circles on .png screenshots of text but am having a tough time. Thanks again.

Your other alternative is to use Inkscape. ;) :D

Thanks. I ended up with Pinta because it was the only one where it was obvious what I needed to do; namely, draw with a pencil.
