Occasional White Screen on Zorin OS 12.4

Heyo! This is my first post, so I hope it accords with the rules...

Last year, I had installed Zorin on my HP G62-340US Notebook. A couple of months after that, I had experienced my computer randomly freezing then immediately turning white randomly. I would have to use an external monitor, which was for desktops, making it inconvenient. I had to put up with this for SO long, and thought about fixing it, and researched on YouTube. NOTHING WORKED. Should I replace or repair my graphics card, or should I try something else? Please help!

Unfortunately, you can't get a new graphics card as they are chipsets soldered onto Notebook motheboards. Has this only recently started happening? Try downgrading to an earlier kernel:

This http://www.laptoprepair101.com/laptop-l ... ned-white/ and second response here https://www.technibble.com/forums/threa ... een.38087/ suggest a bad video cable connection can be one of the possible reasons.
