mult boot usb

hi

would like to create a multi boot external usb on which I would install zorinos core & light versions to try before
buying the "ultimate".

- is it possible?
- how?

I am using a mac desk top pro running os x Catalina.
I have "etcher" & "unebootin" software.
I have successfully installed zorinos on a bootable usb stick and it boots up and I can use Zorinos ok.

went to your suggested link - however it says I need a pc with windows. I don't want to put windows os on the bootable drive.
I only have a mac pro and want to put linux zorinos (2 versions) on a usb device to plug into my mac and do a restart & hold down
option key and bring up my start up options.

How?

I should have mentioned I'm 69 and have no history with linux or windows - really struggling here. I think I would like to concentrate on & learn learn a bit
about linux on zorinos - unless someone suggests differently.

You could contact the guy that runs this:

and ask if you can use it to create a multi-linux USB creator. Other than that it would mean installing Linux to your Mac (See the guide I posted here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12621

Then once you have Zorin installed you could use this to create Multi-USB: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13887&hilit=+MultiSystem#p60821

Multiboot is for Linux, but yes, I was indeed mistaken about it being possible to install on Mac OS as well. I think.
Either way, why not use your Disk Utility to partition the USB drive into the number of partitions you need? Once you have done so, you can then run through the normal steps outlined here: https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/tutorial-c ... 1-overview

Had a look at their main page - the only option is for someone using Windows or a different flavour of Linux - there is no 'Macbuild' usb as such - another case of Mac users not being able to build a bootable USB unless they already have Linux or a Windows machine which Frankt doesn't have.
