hi
before I install Zorin OS 15 Lite on some of my diy refurbished pc's, I wanted to try out Zorin OS 15 Lite on a vmware virtual machine(VM) set to the system requirements published on the download website.

booting works on the VM but the machine boots to a Command Interface [BusyBox v1.27.2]
I want to know how to boot with GUI (like in the pic) with the published system requirements on the website. I also want to know if its possible to do so. Please tell me how to do if its possible.

some data
specs of my host pc:
CPU : Intel Core i5-4210U @1.7GHz - 2.2GHz
RAM : 4GB DDR3
VM running on OS : Windows 10 Home

specs of the virtual machine that I have set
RAM: 512MB
PROCESSOR CORES USED:1
STORAGE SPACE:8GB

I tried again to load the GUI by changing the virtual machine settings to:
RAM: 2GB
Processor cores: 2
Storage space: 20GB (system requirements to run Ubuntu 64-bit)
and it worked.
but the system was slow and unresponsive during the installation process.
After installation it works Fine.

Zorin Lite is based on xubuntu (ubuntu with xfce) - try following this guide - it should help:
