Safe to Install Puddletag?

Hi there,
I was wondering if it would be wise for me to install Puddletag from Sourceforge, as it's not in the repo's. I ask as i used to use mp3tag when I used windowsxp.
Looking at Puddletag on Sourceforge, there are a lot of things which need installing, and if I go ahead with this, will I break my system?
Below are the requirements I found:
Quote:
"What you need
At least Python 2.6 (but not Python 3)
PyQt4 (with Qt of course) (4.5 or greater) for the GUI.
PyParsing (≥1.5.1) takes care of the parsing...
Mutagen (1.20 recommended, 1.14 required) is used as the tagging lib and...
ConfigObj (≥ 4.5.0) takes care of saving settings."
Also:
"Installing from the Debian package
This Debian package has been created on and for Ubuntu 10.04, but it should work on any Debian-based distro with the requisite dependencies. Make some noise on the forum if it doesn’t work for you.
Downloading the deb, puddletag_0.10.6-1_all.deb (SHA1 e1391cc0c4560af4884fae2cf2195bd0b9433e69) and double clicking it to open your package manager should suffice to install it.
Otherwise, first install the dependencies by running as root:
aptitude install python-qt4 python-pyparsing python-mutagen python-configobj python-musicbrainz2
Then (also as root)
dpkg -i /path/to/downloaded.deb
puddletag should be available from your Multimedia menu."

Should I go ahead with this, or will it cause problems?
Thanks in advance,
