Problems with GDM and LightDM

Hello.

I was never a fan of Gnome or GDM, even when I switched from Ubuntu to Zorin.
I want to install LightDM and use it like on Ubuntu.
After sucessfully installing LightDM, it asked me which DM I want to use. Accidently i've choosed GDM.
With
Code:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm

i switched back to LightDM.

But LightDM looks terrible. It does not even look like the Ubuntu-login screen.
What did I wrong? Did someone the same and had the same problem?

Also i noticed, that the keyboard layout changes!!! The "up" key makes a screenshot, ctrl + c shuts down the computer!

Hi Lesik,

you should be able to select which DE you want at the login screen, if you want a light DE then you shouldn't mess with the Zorin DE settings as Zorin was purpose built for its own DE.

Maybe just install Ubuntu and use "Classic Mode". This of course is not to say that you must completely rid your PC of Zorin but it does defeat the object of installing it in the first place!!.
