The "Z" at the bottom won't work, in Windows 7 mode?

So I've had a lot of problems since using Zorin OS, and the biggest one is the "Z" at the bottom left (in Windows 7 mode) sometimes doesn't work until I re start it.

Another thing to mention is sometimes the sound doesn't work.
