sound issues

anyone else having sound issues in zorin.
Using version 6 lxde got skype pidgin and jitsu configured been testing between main computer (zorin), andriod to jolios.
Android to joli os on skpype works great computer to joli os on all three voip apps nothing but feedback mixed in with voice more feedback than voice.
Played around with pulse audio volume control to no joy. Any ideas on how to solve this otherwise it's back to ubuntu where it all works.

Hi,

install the following packages:

libsox-fmt-all
paman (Pulse Audio Manager)

Restart your Pc and find the Pulse Audio Manager and check the settings, in particular the input/output and the designated hardware!.

Navigate to:
/etc/xdg/lxsession/Lubuntu
open autostart file as root> and type @application name
>and save restart your system and your apps should autostart.
