[SOLVED] I deleted my Panel-But now a new promblem

Hey, I just installed the fresh Zorin os 5.2 and Then i was trying to delete the email button from the panel in right hand corner (if your on xp or win 7 theme) and messed up, I deleted the whole panel and was wondering, How do I get it back

Ps. I tryed add panel, But it does not show the widgets that come on it

First, just try an easy

Code:

killall gnome-panel

in terminal. (To open terminal press Alt+F2 and in the window that will appear write gnome-terminal and hit <enter>).

If it works then, to add it up at each restart, open from control center the "start-up applications" and add "gnome-panel".



If the above will not work, i would do the following:

Press alt+f2 and in the window that will appear write

Code:

gnome-terminal

and hit <enter>

Then, in terminal write the following and press <enter> after each line.

Code:

gconftool-2 –-shutdown
rm -rf ~/.gconf/apps/panel
pkill gnome-panel

ok Thanks it worked, But now my laptop wont connect to my pc monitor

open the control center > hardware > displays > detect monitor

I did that with my monitor plugged in and i truned clone images off and then went to the power mangement and put on ac power with lid closed do nothing and Then the minute i do that my computer sleeps and geta clomed image on my monitor
